Just before finding out I was pregnant, I started a new hobby, BJJ. I loved it, it was mentally challenging me, physically challenging me & I felt a part of a family. Then after 6 weeks I found out o was expecting our ‘Jiu jitsu’ baby. I thought it would all change but in fact, it didn’t.
it only got better. The coaches became family & adapting movements to accommodate bump. Now after birth I’ve been welcomed back with specific yoga based movements to help my core strength & general strength with training.

The club are having a women’s only seminar in May which has been heavily subsidised to attract new comers. At £10 for 3 hours I’d recommend it whole heartedly!
