I'm 7wks tomorrow post EMCS. My bleeding stopping totally two weeks after and hadn't returned. I had the contraceptive implant put back in on the 13th February, three days ago I had blood when wiping, yesterday I've had bright red blood and clots, today I've had the same but cramps in the middle of my lower abdomen.

I've also been incredibly tired, certain smells have made me feel sick which is weird and today I'm a bit bloated which I haven't been past few days. Is it likely to he my period come back or something else?

Did you have unprotected sex before the implant was put in?

I would suspect period/ bleeding associated with the implant but definitely check with GP if doesn't disappear. I had some bleeding when I had my implant put in for a few weeks but then it disappeared for the rest of the three years it was in. I can't remember if it had clots though. I would keep an eye on it.

Hoping it's just to do with the implant, this is my third implant and I've never had bleeding or periods whilst on them in the past.
