Sorry to ask all about periods but just checking if this is something normal or if I should be worried. I have done an e-consult with my gp but of course wait times are long and they’ve said my call back will be over a week away.
Had my first baby in early April, been exclusively breastfeeding since, still am but obviously less so now that he’s on solids. Also on birth control pill that I take continuously (gp’s recommendation not to have the break with it).
I got my first returning period on Christmas Day. It started off as a normal period, but I’ve been almost continuously lightly bleeding ever since, it did stop for about 5 days mid January then lightly started again.
Has anyone else had this? Is it just my body finding it’s way back again? I’ve looked but can’t find much about a super long bleed.
