Anxiety at not being able to look after babies

Hi,

I have a 2YO and a 1YO. I've never struggled with my mental health before but since having my youngest daughter I've have what I can only describe as a real fear of getting a sickness bug and not being able to look after my children. It's not having the actual sickness bug that makes me anxious but more that I can't control when I would be sick and therefore wouldn't be able to care for the children. My husband is very hands on and always explains to me all that would happen is that he would take over more and we would get through it etc. i also have loads of family that can help so I am really lucky if that did happen but I just can't seem to shake the fear! Im not sure what I can do to overcome/manage it.... I've started with a sore throat today and i am now getting anxious over that incase it makes me really poorly!! I am healthy and no reason to why it would but how do I stop overthinking!! Has anyone else gone through this?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Do you think there's a chance that you have PND @May2311? Sometimes irrational thoughts and health anxiety can be signs Flowers
