Period after birth

I had my period 4 months after giving birth and at first it came fine. My child is 8 months and now my period is 9 days late.. I'm not pregnant and I'm bottle feeding. Is it normal for periods to be on and off after child birth?

Yes I think that's pretty normal for the first year! I think I had a period about 4 months after, like you, then the next one was maybe 6 weeks later. Also if you've had any vaccinations they can mess with your periods a bit too!

Yes it came back after 6 weeks... I spoke to the Dr who did my ivf and he said yes it is completely normal to happen x
