Bleeding heavier 6 days post emergency section, also wet wound

I’m 6 days post emergency section and my bleeding has been minimal the whole time the midwife said when she visited that they tend to clean your womb out during the section. So yesterday it was heavier but not “heavy” this morning I got up and it’s soaked through my pad and underwear and is on my bed sheets. I’d say I slept 3 hours between baby feeds so it happened in 3 hours. It’s not heavy now iv been changed and cleaned up but I’m worried this should be getting lighter and lighter not heavier……
also when I took a look at my wound last night it was a little wet and used a clean cotton bud the wetness was a slight yellow colour. The day before I was in hospital as it had been bleeding and it was dry that day and they were happy with it. Does wetness mean infection?

I got to just over a week I think and the bleeding had stopped. I thought oh wow, this is amazing! Within a few days it came back heavier and lasted til over 6 weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sounds normal to me. Kept your wound dry and let fresh air get to it as much as possible.
