Restarting the pill after pregnancy... feel awful!

Almost 2 years after stopping the pill and now 3 months post partum I restarted the pill (Lucette). I'd been waiting for my period to return first, but it didn't, so just picked a random day and restarted. Only 3 days later and I feel awful and I'm guessing it has to be the pill. I feel like the colour has just drained from my world, I feel no joy and a mix of just emotional/numb/unexplainable anger.

I'm stopping it again as I don't want feeling like this to spoil my time with my DD. Hope stopping after only 3 days will be okay.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Just curious if it took 3 days or did you feel off immediately? I started it yesterday at 6 weeks post partum and feel an emotional wreck today but could just be a coincidence or poor sleep or general post partum hormones. I’ll give it a few more days and see if it continues.

I would say it increased each day, but there probably was at least some change in me on that very first day. My DP said he noticed a slight change on day 2 and by day 3 I was like a different person apparently.

Didn't take it last night (I was taking it at midnight) and felt totally different this morning, as though the joy was back. I guess it hadn't had a chance to build up too much. I'm hopeful I'll feel even better tomorrow after a second day without it.

I'm honestly shocked it could have had such an impact and so quickly, especially as I'd been on it for years before TTC.
