I put on 24 kg (4 stone or so)during pregnancy. Within 3 months of birth I lost 14kg just like that.

But my baby is now 7 months and the remaining 10kg (1.5 stone) sticks to me like glue, spread evenly over my body, keeping me 1-2 sizes bigger than before the baby. I have been eating vegan plant based wholefoods, raw and cooked veg, very healthy lifestyle like I did before I became pregnant. I walk 1 hrs a day with the buggy but I'm too exhausted to exercise for now (parenting solo). I'm 35. Stopped breastfeeding when baby was 4 months, so none of the extra weight is in boobs anymore, just everywhere else.

I know ins and outs of diet and exercise, but fad diets and skipping meals will shoot my metabolism. I've done that countless times before with opposite effect. But before pregnancy my weight had been stable for 7 years at 70kg.

I'm looking more to read about your experiences with postnatal weight loss, especially long term ones, whatever they may be.
