Vaginal bleeding after sex - postpartum

Hi all - congrats to those of you who have recently welcomed little ones!

I had a daughter just over 6 weeks ago, via C section.

My husband and I have had sex twice in recent days and both times have resulted in vaginal bleeding. After the first incidence I thought it was external bleeding (it's been a long time!) but the second time I'm sure the bleeding was internal. It's bright red and the bleeding only lasts for a short time, there is no pain.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry didn't want to read and run. I had a c section aswell. However first time having sex after it I was fine. Maybe you have left over blood postpartum, has your first period returned

Hi, I had this but left it months to go to my GP hoping it would clear up. I had a cervical erosion which was causing bleeding x
