Periods returned for 6 months then gone again

Hi, I just wondered if this was normal as it's worrying me!

My daughter is 2 this month but we're still breastfeeding pretty regularly and at least once or twice through the night 🙄

My periods returned at 18m pp and were like clockwork starting on the 26-28th of the month

Then all of a sudden I didn't have one in May!

I have done two pregnancy tests this week and they're clear negatives which I'm pleased about.

A few things that could have affected it - we went on holiday 23 May to 3 June and LO was breastfeeding like crazy the whole time. I wondered if this may have stopped the period? I also have lost a bit of weight but I wouldn't say dramatically, I have gone from 10 st7 to 9st over a period of three months so not underweight.

Would you say that any of this would be a reasonable cause of the period not coming? My reason for worrying is that I really wouldn't like to be pregnant again yet! And as I say have tested and have two negatives. But stupidly we did have risky sex about four weeks ago - only put a condom on towards the end whereas I am usually militant about it - so I can't stop worrying!

Any help appreciated!

I would say you are.pregnant and the hormones just aren't strong enough yet to get a positive
