I knew having a baby was going to be hard work but goddamnit this is hard.

Baby was born by c section, and since then I’ve had covid, two weeks of chest infection, a sick bug that meant I couldn’t eat anything for 4 days, crippling post partum depression and now I have fucking norovirus.

She’s only been on the planet 5 months so that’s a thing a month, all while getting up 2-10 times a night. I am fucking DEAD.

Good god, sounds horrendous. I have just had bronchitis for 2 weeks with our 8 week old so can empathise. Id put her down in cot and spend an hour coughing into a towel in our en-suite so she couldn't hear then she'd wake up half an hour after the coughing had ended. How are you managing to get any rest?

I’m not to be honest, we’re a couple of weeks out of the 4 month sleep regression where she was up every single hour, and during the day she would only nap in a carrier outdoors so I was walking 20km a day in the rain… you couldn’t make it up 😭

We’ve had some better nights since but the last two have been worse than ever. Poor baby is super constipated because I’ve had to start her on formula because my milk supply is non existent.
