Feeling in Abdomin After C-section and Exercise

Hi,
I had a c-section 18 weeks ago and at first the skin on my belly felt super strange. When I touched it, it felt like I wasn't touching my skin but a bumbag or something I was wearing. I spoke to the GP about it at my postnatal checkup and she said it was fine and because they had cut through all the nerves and muscles and that it would feel strange for a while but that sensation would return once everything had healed itself and stitched back together. The sensation did return and I felt like it was almost normal which was great but recently I have been exercising more vigorously and the lack of sensation feeling returned. I've taken a step back exercise wise inorder to heal up a bit more but I was wondering if anyone else had felt like the sensation in lower abdomin (the pouch above the c-section), had waxed and waned during their postnatal recovery?
Many thanks.

I'd say that's pretty normal. I'm 6 months after my third csection and just noticed today that a part of my stomach is numb where I thought it wasn't numb. I either didn't pay too much attention previously or its gone a bit number at the moment, I'm not concerned!
