Purple breasts, not breast feeding

I had a baby 10 weeks ago and I'm not breastfeeding. I've noticed over the past few days that both breasts have turned slightly purple from just above the nipple down towards the bottom of my breasts. My nipples haven't changed at all, it's my skin. It's like that all day so it's not the hot water from the shower or wearing a bra that's too tight (can't remember the last time I wore a bra!) or anything like that. They're not painful at all and there's no lumps or anything but they do seem a little bigger than usual. I've never breastfed so wouldn't imagine it had anything to do with milk supply. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm thinking if they're still like this on Monday then I'll phone the doctor although I know it'll be a phone call and not a face to face appointment for them to actually examine me which is annoying!
