Pain behinde c-section scar 7 years later

Hello,

The past 6 months I have had a pain to the right side of my c section scar. It starts during my period and then get worse after my period finishes and then goes away until the next month.

Feels like something is tugging or pulling and is extremely tender to touch. I went to Dr's about it and they sent me to the hospital who said just to see how I go.

Phoned Dr's today but they can't fit me in until March. Has anyone every suffered with this?

We are currently ttc baby no2 and have been for the past 13 months and I can't help but feel whatever is causing this pain is stopping me from getting pregnant 🥲

I have this and I'm currently waiting for an ultrasound. I'm thinking it might just be adhesions/internal scar tissue.

Adhesions won't show up on ultrasound btw, but things like cysts will so I think they just want to rule other things out. My pain can be quite severe so I did push for investigation, I had to lay it on quite thick with the GP to be taken seriously X

I was thinking adhesions also but find it strange how it's only painful during and just after my period.

It's possibly endometriosis? Where womb tissue spreads outside of your womb... See link below. It's rare but possible to develop after a c section

Oh this is interesting I don't have any other symptoms of that like heavy painful periods etc. Will have to wait and see what Dr's say
