I am 10 days post delivery and I had pretty much stopped bleeding by day 7. Yesterday evening I felt a big gush down below which was a whole load of bright red blood. This then stopped straight away after the gush. I didn't bleed all day today and then this evening I have again felt a big gush and found a lot of bright red blood however I have now carried on bleeding but not super heavy like the initial gush. I saw a midwife earlier today (didn't mention any bleeding) and when feeling my stomach she said it feels like I have contracted back very nicely.
Has anyone else experienced this ?
