I'm 4 weeks pp. I keep getting a very unpleasant stabbing pain inside my vagina. I don't remember it with my other kids.
Yesterday I decided to have a little feel down there and it feels very different from what it was pre baby. There is a weird spongy bulge just inside the opening to my vagina that wasn't there before and it was really uncomfortable to insert my finger.
I'm not sure if I should book a drs appointment. I googled it and it said symptoms of infection were bad smell but I haven't recovered my sense of smell since having covid so I've no idea. My bleeding is light although I passed a massive clot yesterday but nothing since. Just unsure, not under midwives anymore so who do you seek assurance from?
