It's current half 4 am. My son had a bottle and is producing plenty of wet nappies and is feeding well. He has a pink colour on his cheeks and seems alert, apart from the sneezing fit he just had waking up and occasional cough he is doing but seems well. I'm booking him an appt with gp but he is doing a proper clicking noise while he is breathing as soon as I put him down in his moses basket. Anyone had this before? I did the worst thing and went on Google and it comes up with pneumonia etc so hasn't helped ease my worry. If he was acting floppy and not drinking then he would be in a & e but he seems well enough to wait for the doctors in the morning due to the above I stated previously and he has no temperature.. Anyone else's baby had a clicking noise as they were breathing?

Thank you in advance Smile

Sorry I don't know but bumping for you - hope the GP appointment goes well

I though you were going to say he was clicking when he was feeding, I've not heard of it with breathing.

Did you manage to speak to the GP today?

Is it his throat that the clicking is coming from or his chest? My DS had a floppy windpipe and an unsafe swallow and he sort of clicked after a feed because the milk was sitting in his lungs rather than in his stomach. (I'm obviously not a medical professional just my experience).

It's okay now it went on its own however he has a chest infection now
