Hair after pregnancy

Hey,

My baby is now 6 months and im still struggling with hair loss.

My hair was lovely and thick both pre and during pregnancy, its now limp, always greasy and unbearably knotty and is thinner than its ever been. Its sore to brush too the point i could take paracetamol to ease the scalp pain.

Spoke to the GP, no medical cause they can see.

Upgraded shampoo to Olaplex, bought the latest tangle teezer, use a dyson hairdryer sparingly.

Anyone have any suggestions before i have it all cut off?

No one ever talks about this pleasant surprise after pregnancy! I can't remember when mine started to look better, but it did eventually - probably about a year (but I was breastfeeding until then). For ages I had so many new hairs growing that putting it up looked ridiculous too as there were wispy bits everywhere.
Sorry I don't have any great suggestions, I rode it out and it eventually got better but I know how rubbish it felt at the time Flowers
