When did you get your periods after EBF?

I gave birth in April and i am EBF.
I have been crampy lately and today started to have lots of pink and now brown discharge. Like the end of a period.
Out of nowhere.

Is this normal? Does it mean i am ovulating again?

Could do yep! I got mine back at 3 months pp and I ebf about 10 feeds a day! Doesn't stop everyone from having periods...

I got pregnant again on first try at 10 months pp when I was still breastfeeding, so just beware you are definitely fertile!

Immediately. I wasn't sure whether my first period was the end of post natal bleeding, but I think.i had about a weeks break. They then we're regular but lighter.

But actually, I did mixed feed for the first few months, but was still regular bf, and moved to ebf after that.

Approx 6mo, kind of coincided with starting solids. BF was still the main meal though for over a year, and ds was still bf until nearly 4yo...
