How to start loving my body again

My baby is almost 2 years old and although I can now fit into my pre baby jeans I can’t bring myself to love my new body. I’m constantly judging myself and putting myself down as clothes don’t fit the way they should/don’t look the way they should on me. I really want to learn to love my body again. Does anyone have any tips?

I just saw you don't have any replies and didn't want to read without leaving one. But I'm not sure if I have anything useful to say.

Are you able to be proud of what your body has done? Can you consciously remind yourself when you see yourself in the mirror that your body birthed an amazing child? You will never be the same again and if you are able to embrace that you might be able to accept yourself. Are you able to not chase your previous body and instead think of yourself as a mother now who bears the proud marks to prove what you have achieved?

Our culture is so unfair on women and the unrealistic expectations of our bodies are such a drain of energy. You are amazing and you don't need to measure up to some stupid idea of what a woman's body should look like xxxx

Im the same, emergency c-section ruined my tummy, so when it’s healed properly I’m going to hit the gym and try and get as close to my pre pregnancy body as possible.
