I had my baby 13 weeks ago and period returned at 10 weeks and I am still bleeding 3 weeks on! Surely this is not normal? I should say I did start the pill on the first day of my period (at 10 weeks pp) which I know can cause breakthrough bleeding.
My lochia never really lasted more than 10 days so I’m wondering if my body never got rid of anything at the time and is making up for it now.
Will contact gp next week if no change. What can they actually do to check though? Most apps are over the phoneAngry
Thanks

I bled for a similar time and saw GP. She said not to worry but did a blood test to see if I was anemic after all that bleeding, which I wasn't.
Hope they can reassure you.

Yes, definitely give them a ring although I’m sure it will be fine.
I remember having a torrential period after my second child. I thought I was haemorrhaging !
