6 weekly/8 week vaccination how to get an appointment?

Just a quick one. I'm almost certain that my midwife said an appointment would come through pose for these? But my sister said she had to book it. Anyone that's had babies recently can tell me? Do I need to book an appointment with my drs or will they send an appointment out?

I rang my GP and they sent a letter out with the appointment time. Our appointments were combined with his jabs to minimise visits to the clinic.

I have had to ring to organise mine. I would ring to book it if I was you.

Call your GP and double check. Mine came through the post, but it depends on how your surgery do it

The appointment came through for ours in a letter from a central hub. But my Drs’s surgery called to merge all the appointments into one visit.
If you haven’t heard you could call your Drs to arrange it.

It depends on your GP I think - they're the only people who can tell you how it works at their surgery.

Please call your Gp to arrange your 6-8 week postnatal appointment for you and baby. Better to ‘remind’ them than be missed

I had to call and book for all the checks and baby vaccinations. No reminders I just had to be organised. V annoying when you are in the newborn phase!

Megan2018 · 13/02/2021 06:56

I had to book mine

Thankyou I'll give them a call on Monday!
