Pain in the neck

Hi everyone, my little one is seven months and getting heavier by the day, so I don't know if this is something to do with it, but for the past six weeks or so, I've been waking up with neck pain on my left side. I don't know if the fact I also sleep on flat pillows anything to do with it. It clears up once I'm up really, but just wanted to see if anyone else had suffered with this postpartum. I've tension in my shoulders and the stiffness is left hand side neck and up as far as behind ear. Thanks

It’s probably the looking down.
I have had issues with this and my chiropractor says it’s from neck and shoulders under strain from holding babies for feeds etc. Mums spend all their time looking down which strains muscles.
I’d google neck and shoulder stretches and see if they help, and if not get some sort of chiro type treatment.

Thanks, I've found some exercises and will give them a go. Were you suffering for long? I'm waking up most days for the past. Six weeks or so.

Watch out for mother knee too when she gets a bit older and you spend all your time kneeling on the floor or getting up and down from the floor. That's fun!

Unfortunately yes @elliemcx
DD 16 months and still having issues, but still BF and she likes to be held like a baby still so it’s not surprising Shock
