PN blood loss

My blood loss this time round has felt a bit odd at times. It was what I would consider 'normal' for post birth but then It went quite watery which I told the midwife when she asked. It started tailing off but Monday I went for a little walk down the village and Tuesday the loss increased again. I saw midwife that day anyway for weights she said it was fine so long as wasn't soaking through pad every hour. Now I still haven't done that much but I last changed it about 3 hours or so ago and have just got up to feed and had to change pad abs underwear there was so much. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but hard not to. I have a various vein on my left leg which has been hurting a fair amount last night it was painful to stand on that leg. I was given blood thinning injections on discharge abs had forgotten the last two days due to being constant with newborn twins and a nearly 2 year old. But I did do it last night (Wednesday) it hasn't affected my blood loss up until this point abs wondered if maybe that maybe has contributed to the loss looking like a lot? I intend to call midwife tomorrow morning to discuss but wondered if anyone else has has it so up and down.
