I've been taking citalopam for around 2 weeks and want to stop taking it. I'm on the lowest dose. Can I just stop taking it as not even in my system yet really? Does anyone know?

No idea sorry. You might want to take half a dose for a couple of days rather than go cold turkey Smile

I would consult your doc, at 2 weeks you won't be feeling thr full benefit and will be having a load of side effects that get better by 4 weeks issh. most people are on it for a few months to get the full benefits.

I would try and persevere, 2 weeks isn’t a long time. Takes roughly around 6-8 weeks for you to feel the benefits. I empathise with you though as I found the side effects horrific initially recommencing on them whilst I was pregnant, but fine now no issues!
