Please help- V irregular periods 11 months PP ...

I had my baby over 11 months ago and she has been exclusively formula fed since she was a month old.
My periods since have been very irregular and I've only had 3! I had my first in May which was incredibly heavy. Since then they have been normal flow wise but very spaced apart.
Cycle 1 was 40 days
Cycle 2 was 60 days
And I'm currently on day 85 since my last period!
Anyone experience anything similar?
Not sure if relevant, but I had an EMCS and did lose quite a lot of blood.

I've not done a test, but would be very surprised... excuse the TMI but we have been using condoms without fail and none have split. Perhaps I will do one just to eliminate it as a possibility, but its highly unlikely.

My son is 8.5 mo, stopped bf at 6 mo and periods have yet to return. Spoke to GP on Friday (we'd like to have a second child asap) and she said it is what it is, your body can just ake a while for all the hormones to settle again.
