Period after pregnancy

I'm just over 4 weeks PP.. I started back on the pill just over a week ago. The Koch is had pretty much stopped, but now I'm getting heavier bleeding again. Could this be my period? And how soon after pregnancy did you use tampons again? Thanks

I got my period back 4 weeks PP and I’m exclusively breastfeeding so it could be. If you’re experiencing large clots or very heavy bleeding id get checked to be safe! And tampons are from 6 weeks PP
