Hormonal migraines since giving birth!?

Hello,

So I had my little girl nearly 3 months ago now. Before being pregnant, didn't suffer with PMS really but did have heavy periods. I had a week long headache last month around the time I would of ovulated and I've now got another one this month, at the same time again around when I ovulate.
Anyone else suffer with hormal headaches/migraines? I can still go about my daily things but just feel a bit spaced out with it!

Just wondering if anyone knows how to ease them? Guessing if they carry on then I may have to consider a hormonal type of birth control as for the last 7 years I've not taken anything as prefer to be natural! But can't really carry on having these every month.

Basically just wondering if anyone has tried anything or been put on a certain type of birth control that stops them?

Thank you!

Hi, yes I've suffered really badly with hormonal headaches since the birth of my son a few months ago. I did before pregnancy too, and they stopped during pregnancy but came back after. I find feminax worked really well.

Hi ladies. I've got postpartum headaches and my sons just over 2 months old, google seems to link it to a drop in hormones after they peaked during ovulation. It's my first cycle since having my son and I think I got one either on O day or the day after! And then a week later another horrendous one again! Apparently it can also be affected if you had an epidural/spinal.

Do you know what time in your headaches come? And did you have spinal?
Hope it's nothing serious and they go soon!
