Did breastfeeding give you saggy boobs

Exactly as asked, did breastfeeding give you saggy boobs?. I am on my third pregnancy and only fed my other two for up to eight weeks. My boobs are still pert and where they are meant to be lol. Want to breastfeed for longer this time but just wanted opinions from those who did feed for longer ? I've seen lots of people blame it on pregnancy that gave them the saggy boobs but if that was the case we'd all be saggy. I believe it's the breastfeeding, inflating, deflating over and over, using up fat stores etc 💁

No - they were saggy shaped before - breastfeeding has only affected my nipples that are quite prominent all the time.

inappropriateraspberry · 06/09/2020 20:07

Yes! I had G cup but they have have got smaller due to losing their fullness and getting saggy. I fed 1 child for a year, and the next for almost 2 years.
I think it really depends on the size you were to start with. My sister has an a/b cup and they're still perky after 2 children.

LashesZ · 06/09/2020 20:15

No, BF for a year. Went from an A to a D when BFing then a generous B. Might be saggy/softer, but when I started with no breast tissue, so it's all good!

Bringonspring · 06/09/2020 20:19

No but frankly even if they did I wouldn’t change a thing. Frankly get a grip OP

KenDodd · 06/09/2020 20:25

No.
I fed three and it didn't really make any difference to my boobs. They were never great in the first place though.

SunbathingDragon · 06/09/2020 20:26

No, I think it’s down to genetics like stretch marks etc.

Branleuse · 06/09/2020 20:33

Yes. They went completely massive, like about 8 cup size increase and then deflated. Wasnt great for them

BiBabbles · 06/09/2020 20:39

Not in my case. I breastfed 4 kids for at least 18 months each, was pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over ten years and can still pass the pencil test with ease. I think it's really individual, as others said, and one's size. Larger boobs sag more easily than small ones, probably more with the additional weight common in pregnancy, breastfeeding, or menopause.

I kinda feel like my nipples got bigger/pokey-ier/stretched out a bit with pregnancy and breastfeeding though, but other than that, my breasts have been in constant flux in size since I've had them.

equuscaballus · 06/09/2020 20:45

Nope. 18 months.

When stopping I ate a fat rich diet for about three months as apparently you need to "lay fat" back in them.

Its not the time for low fat/dieting.

It worked for me.

DangerMouse17 · 06/09/2020 20:47

It's not the bf, it's just they get bigger and stretch so you have to look after your skin in the same way as the rest of your body...and eat/drink well!

BabyLlamaZen · 06/09/2020 20:51

Hard to say. Been feeling mine 10 months and still look OK!

Maybe an age thing? Also there's a difference between feeding for 6 months and 2 years I guess.

BabyLlamaZen · 06/09/2020 20:51

feeding not feeling!

LilyLongJohn · 06/09/2020 20:52

No not at all. I breastfed first 6 months, my boobs are bigger than before and not saggy at all.

pastabest · 06/09/2020 20:52

Nope. Still voluptuous despite breastfeeding two children, although they are starting to drop a little now but that's age related not breastfeeding related.

june2007 · 06/09/2020 20:59

No being an F cup gave me saggy boobs.

SylvanianFrenemies · 06/09/2020 21:01

No. BF DD1 for 2.5y, and Dd2 for 3.5y. My boobs aren't exactly as they were pre DCs, but they aren't saggy, and I am 10y older.

MillieEpple · 06/09/2020 21:04

No and they got fuller.

alabama80 · 06/09/2020 21:26

No, I have 3DC and you can't tell.

seven201 · 06/09/2020 22:56

Mine went from a barely filling a b cup to filling a b cup then back again. Fed dd for 1 year and they're still a similar pertness level.

I am still bitter that breastfeeding didn't give me bigger boobs! Off topic, sorry!

OllyBJolly · 06/09/2020 23:00

Not at all. Two bf babies, now 58 and still perky. If anything, pregnancy and breast feeding improved my shape. (Athletic if being kind!)
