8wks after c-section bleeding and tummy trouble?

Sorry if TMI! I am 8 weeks post ELCS, and having bleeding and also diarrhoea - not sure if they are connected or not. I was put on antibiotics at my 6-week check to help the bleeding in case there was an infection - this was because I hadn't really bled much since the birth but then it all started in week 6. The bleeding went away after the antibiotics- or so I thought. Now this week it is back. Again sorry for the TMI but it's quite clotty although the clots aren't larger than a 50p which seems to be the GP's red flag. The bad tummy has coincided but I don't know if it's connected. I've got horrible bad period like pains all round and generally feel achey and sometimes a bit queasy.

Before I go back to the GP just wondering if this is more common than I thought? Has anyone else experienced this? With no bleeding prior to the 6th week?

I might just try to rest (what I can do with a newborn) and go back in a couple of weeks if no better.

Hi I had a c-section 5 months ago. I bled for the first 2 days then nothing.
It did come back about 5wk pp and I would get gushes of blood, this lasted around 4-5 days.
Then at around 8.5wks I got my period, that was really heavy, leaking through super tampax and pads and was also painful.
It does sound like your period may have come back but if your worried then just contact your gp for advice
