Episiotomy scar pain

Hi,
Hope I’ve posted this to right place and hope someone can help.
I had my son 7 months ago and had an episiotomy, my stitches came undone the next day and it took about 2 weeks to heal and the whole healing process was horrific, worse than actual birth.
Anyway, 7 months later my scar is still sore and aches. Sex hurts and it aches for hours after. When I’m on my period the ache is even worse, the pain sometimes keeps me up on a night. Certain sitting and standing positions hurt, if I walk for too long it hurts, knickers rub against it. It’s just awful. I hate it so much.
Does anyone else have problems with their scar this far on? Anything that can help stop the pain?
I’m due to go back to work in October as a support worker and so worried how I’ll cope with it because of the scar!!

Thanks

I had a very large episiotomy that got infected and didn't heal for a good few months. It still aches horribly seven years later when I'm
On my period and on and off now I'm pregnant again. Yours sounds worse though you seem to be suffering all the time. I'd go to your gp and they can refer you.

7 years later, wow. I’d never even considered how long it could hurt for. It feels like it hurts/aches more times than it doesn’t and it’s getting worse! I think they’ve made such a mess as well it’s so wide and long- goes onto my bum cheek which is probably why it hurts so much from rubbing as assuming it shouldn’t be that big! I didn’t know if gp could do anything now just wondered if anyone had any ideas from personal experience but will try gp as I’m so fed up x
