Has anyone had a baby after a prolapse?

I had a prolapse after my 3rd. I managed it myself and its much better now. Pelvic floor exercises have helped.

I'm looking into getting a kegal 8 machine this week to help even more.

We really want baby number 4 but I'm worried about what happens. Will it get worse this time?

I have just posted twice on prolapse threads so on a roll!!! When I got one after first baby I was so depressed and found some threads on here really helpful and comforting. Only just joined musmnet now though!

I have just had a second baby and the prolapse is worse - more from the pregnancy than the birth. I worried this would happen... But:

  1. I'm now 5 months post partum and it is so much better than a couple of months ago. Not back to how it was in between pregnancies but I know it will keep improving
  1. I asked to see a women's health physio during pregnancy so I had that support during pregnancy and then could continue seeing her after the birth. It's been super helpful
  1. This time around I know exactly what to do to make it get better so in that sense even if your prolapse gets worse you are in a better place to make it better so hopefully that means the net outcome is that it doesn't change much!
