Periods after baby

When did you get your first period after baby?

I had a c section 6 weeks ago, second baby, first section.

With my first I bled for 10 weeks then had the implant which made me bleed for 3 months more so I've no idea how long it takes for them to return.

My eldest two I didn't breastfeed, periods came back after 8 weeks.
My youngest I did breastfeed, periods came back at 16 months.

I'm not breastfeeding. Had horrendous period like pains all night and no sign of it easing yet. I'd rather just start now than deal with this pain!

Was your first one after baby painful?

It's a long time ago, but I don't remember it being particularly painful. I hope you feel better soon.

I had 3 dc and all were c section and I didn’t bf beyond the first few days. With my first 2 I bled for 6 weeks and first period arrived 2 weeks later and with number 3 I bled for 4 weeks and period arrived 2 weeks later like clockwork.
