Hi ladies, I had my little girl 7 months ago and have started weaning her. She was ebf and still feeds now. Is it possible to become pregnant while still breast feeding ? I've had af cramps for about 7days but still not had a period. This is the first time the pains have returned since giving birth. I took a test yesterday but it was negative. Just worried as when I conceived before I had af cramps badly for about 3 weeks ! Xx

It is possible but it may be that you are returning to fertility. It's pretty usual to have a few "ghost" periods before they return properly

Have a read of this on Kellymom Smile

It is certainly possible to become pregnant whilst breastfeeding, especially if LO uses a dummy or has any expressed bottles or - has started to wean. But like PP said it's likely just your cycle turning back on again and it's totally normal for it to take a few months to normalise.
