First period after givibg birth

Mine has lasted over a week when normally its only five days. And its very heavy and soaking 2 maternity pads a day and going through onto my clothes. Is this normal? Im worried.

Mine was similar.
I'd forgotten about periods and then it suddenly appeared was similar to yours. It settled down a month or two later. Maybe if you feel really unwell or it continues after a couple of months speak to a HCP for advice?
