Baby poo 6 days old

Hi,

My baby is 6 days old today - until yesterday he was pooing frequently and it was following the colour chart.

Yesterday, he had a tongue tie snip. As his tongue was completely tethered and he was finding feeding difficult. Since then, he has had a poo, however is farting a lot and has a lot of wet nappies.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar/ have any advice before I contact the doctors when they're really busy?

As he’s no longer having difficulty feeding he is taking more in, hence the weeing more, & his digestive system is coping with more milk so there is more wind.

Another vote for this being absolutely normal and a sign that he is feeding well. Congratulations on your mewLO
