11 days PP in pain when I walk

Hi everyone. Just want to start by saying I hope all you new mums are doing well, or well as can be given the current situation.

I'm just looking for a bit of advice really. I'm 11 days PP and about 5 days ago I started with an intense pain in my right side (bum/leg/hip) when walking, literally made me immobile for the next few days. After a bit of research online it looks as though it could possibly be Pelvic Girdle Pain but obviously I am not sure. My pain hasn't got worse as such but I've been trying my best to hobble around the house and keep myself moving which they say is the best way to keep to relieve the pain although I bet to differ. It's making me totally miserable and my OH has being running round after me, our newborn and keeping things ticking over in the house - he's truly been amazing but I am getting increasingly frustrated with myself and don't want the stress to build up too much for him. I've already spoke about this to him and he reassures me daily that he is fine and just needs to get on with it and protect us both especially during this current situation. I figure that the likelyhood of me being able to see a doctor will be pretty slim and I guess I am just trying to reach out to someone who has suffered from this pain and how you went about managing it? I'm exclusively pumping so I can only take paracetemol and ibruprofen otherwise I'd be hammering the codeine lol.
Any help or advice would be really appreciated right now, I feel like I need a hand hold 🙁

Thank you x

I literally have the exact same pain. Left side, bum/hip and when I walk every time my left foot hits the floor I get a sharp stab.

I'm 12 days postpartum and yesterday the pain finally seemed a little less intense. What I have been doing is sleeping with a cushion between my knees, careful when wiping after the loo (I realised I kept leaning onto my left butt cheek to wipe which I think was aggravating it) and also walking in the garden for about 10 mins a day. I'm also gently doing knee raises once a day too. Is still there, still very painful, but a bit less now so gonna keep going.

I spoke to he midwife about it and she basically said wait 6 weeks and it should sort itself out. If not, I can get physio, but not before 6 weeks
