Depressed about my 1 year post natal bump

I’m tall and skinny and have no extra weight left from my pregnancy. But, currently 14 months post partum and still have a bump that people mistake for pregnancy bump. Just today someone thought I was pg - and of course asked me if I was! 😭 fully recognize this is a very very minor worry at the moment, and I’m not obsessed by this. But I am a bit down after being asked about it and would just be nice to know I’m not the only one.

Sounds like diastasis recti. Have you seen a post natal physio? Also lots of exercises online.

I’m beginning to suspect I have it myself at almost 6 months post birth.

Yep that’s most likely it. I did saw a post natal physio but didn’t really like her, and she didn’t really give me a clear answer on if that’s what I have or not, and how severe. Have now signed up on an online training program specifically for new moms. Hope it helps a bit at least.
