7 month pp and still no period

Help my baby is 7 months today and I still havent had a period he is bottle fed from 6 weeks. I had loads of period problems before - 6 rounds of ivf and long irregular cycles with endometriosis. 😩

I have cried nearly everyday for the past week 😢

Have you taken a pregnancy test?

No not pregnant only had sex for first time last week. scared after difficult birth

Admittedly I was breastfeeding, but mine took 8 months to come back. Please try not to worry, stress can also affect your cycle.

Mine came back a month after I finished breastfeeding but I was very emotional before, maybe it's on its way, had killer ovulation pains too

So sorry you've had a difficult birth. Has anybody put you in touch with Birth Trauma Association? It's run by Mums who have experienced birth trauma, just like you

Birth Trauma can also be linked with PND, could you be suffering with this too?

As for the periods, I think it's time to speak to your GP. Many are doing telephone appointments at the moment but I'm not sure they'll be able to do any tests for a while.

I did go and see the GP at the end of January (5months pp) she said wait a bit longer as it can take time.
I did have blood tests 3 weeks ago for hormones but they came back as white blood cells low repeat in two weeks - so nothing to do with hormones. I haven’t repeated with everything going on and I’ve had a bad cold so probably reason for low white blood cells. Will go back for repeat when things are a little calmer.
What could b reason for it not coming back? Getting stressed now but I know they are bigger things to worry about.

Stress could be a factor, as could weight if you are particularly underweight. Not sure what other reasons there could be, you’d need to speak to your GP.

Do you think stress could be a factor?

Update!!! My period arrived today never been so pleased to see it!
