I am at my wits end and desperately looking for some advice or just to know that I'm not alone!
I'm 7 months postpartum and still can't have sex. The pain is just too unbearable, it is just this intense burning sensation that makes any kind of intimacy impossible. My relationship is starting to suffer because we are both so keen to get back to 'normal' and we are both getting a bit frustrated.
I have seen 3 different doctors and a gynaecologist. The gynaecologist said that other than some redness around the scar tissue (I had a 2nd degree tear) that she couldn't see anything else wrong.
But there obviously is something wrong. I'm taking probiotics as well as I read that is supposed to help but, nothing yet. Has anyone else been in this situation? I am tempted to go private but don't want to spend hundreds pounds to only be told the same thing again. 😕
