I'm 4 weeks PP and I'm planning on discussing getting the IUD copper coil at my 6 week appointment - can anyone take me through the process? A friend of mine had to go on a pill for a week because she hadn't been on it for a while, then had an examination then had the coil and had a few checks afterwards but she wasn't PP.
Just wondering the time frame, amount of appointments and whether I can take DS to the appointments!
