when can i have sex after birth?

i had some 2nd degree tears after my birth, they seem to be healing well and bleeding is nearly stopped (the odd brown/yellow discharge. I am 2 weeks pp and i was wondering when i could start having sex again? some people wait 6 weeks some say as soon as you feel like it!! thanks in advance Smile

I think when you feel like it really. With my first I was about five days, just carefully! Second was much longer due to general exhaustion Grin

As soon as you feel like having sex. There are no hard and fast rules, as long as you're not put under any pressure to have sex, when you're ready, go for it.
