So we are on day 6 of no formula. (DD usually has 3 solid meals a day plus 3 x 7oz bottles) but last Saturday she woke & wouldn't take a bottle at all. The last 6 days she has eaten nothing but very milky weetabix & yoghurt. I have been to the doctors 3 times. She has a truly nasty sharp cough, she often cries after she's coughed bless her, doctor said her throat is very sore but viral infection so apart from constant Calpol, it's a case of waiting it out. He said going without milk & lots of food is normal. I am just seeing little improvement though after all this time (it feels about a month) it breaks my heart I can't do anything much to help her except the obvious. Has anyone any experience of anything like this & how long it went on for? She is happy in herself until the Calpol starts to die off, & no temp.
