First period after baby

Hi, currently experiencing my first period 8wpp, slightly disappointed as bfing and hoped to go longer without one. Woke up to feed DS about 2 hours ago and went to the bathroom and suddenly just felt really dizzy. Sat for 10 mins as was scared to move and when I did I was sick. Was shivering so took my temp when I came back downstairs and it was 34.3.. it all passed and feeling ok now just feeling a bit cold and over the two hours my temp has climbed back up to about 36.5. Anyone else had this? Was terrified of DP finding me passed out on the toilet!

When you say "it all passed" do you mean the whole temp/sick/feeling or do you mean physical blood output into the toilet?

If the latter, ie you passed blood/clots that were enough to make you feel like this, then at 8wpp I wouldn't assume this is a period. It is just as likely to be continued pp bleeding. If you lose big clots or flood pads within a short time then seek medical advice.

Still bleeding just the dizziness passed and my temp started to come back up. Still feeling a bit shivery and sick but much better than I did when I woke up
