First period after birth - Fleshy clumps?

I've been experiencing period cramps today and started bleeding. I had my baby boy 5 weeks 5 days ago so I imagine this is my first period since birth!

I seem to be passing clumps of fleshy looking tissue? Is this just normal tissue I am passing or something to be concerned about? I've never had it before and they're not bloody clots, they're flesh coloured pieces. Thanks!

Do you have the phone number still for the hospital ward where you had your baby? If yes then give them a call.
