I had the baby three months ago and am still not well. a traumatic birth has brought back a chronic syndrome I have. There's a procedure/operation I need repeated. The problem is I have ongoing mental health issues that are being ignored. I'm in chronic pain and have been for the three months and unable to leave the house or properly look after the baby. I've been misdiagnosed quite a bit bc if their tunnel vision of she's just had a baby so will be better soon. They are finally listening after three months but not being very urgent about it. I've called GPs, health visitors etc saying my mental health is not good and I need the pain to go or procedure to be put forward but to no avail. I call daily asking for help with my mental health. I even called adult social services to see if they can help and they can't. What am I supposed to do?!

Make a GP appointment and tell them you want to be referred to postnatal mental health team.

I found if you mention post natal mental health in an appointment for another issues it gets written off as normal.

I’m sorry your having a crap time. Flowers
