Post haematoma & catheter infection

Anyone experience of post catheter and/or haematoma infection?

I've been prescribed cefalexin AND metronidazole. It started as a drip 6 days ago (no pills), infection showed 3 days ago, still have symptoms, tomorrow course finishes. Drs, GPS, consultants, midwives never picked up the haematoma so I have no faith in anyone.
