How long for linea nigra to go?

My DD is 6 months and the stripe down my belly is still very much there. I'm sure the midwife told me it would fade within a few weeks! It's faded a bit but mostly because my belly obviously shrunk down so it's not as obvious as it was.

Please tell me I'm not stuck with it foreverBlush

No it will ‘scrape off’ in a bit! You can actually scrape it off.

I can’t remember! Yes, I sort of scrubbed/scraped it off after a while in the bath.

Mine stayed for a long while. Maybe started fading around 8 months post partum. Definitely gone by 1 year though.

I'm not sure but I just remember one day I noticed it wasn't there any more and it was just a surprise to me that it wasn't as it was to me when it first appeared!!

You've just reminded me I had one, I'd completely forgotten! I'm only 4 months pp but it wasn't very dark.
