Anxiety after weaning off expressing

Hello,

I express fed my little boy for the first 4 weeks but decided to wean off as I really wasn't enjoying it. I weaned off in a week but now think I weaned too quickly. Yesterday all of a sudden I got really panicky and ended up crying all afternoon and being really anxious about my little boy and looking after him. Today I've been really upset too with the same feelings. I'm thinking it's the drop in hormones after weaning off.
Has anyone else had this or have any advice on how I can get rid of this feeling?

Thanks

Hello, yes I had this, it wasn't very pleasant for a week and I felt very emotional for a week or so I'd say. I read somewhere your hormones are sort of rebalancing after breast feeding. How are you doing now?

Hiya, thanks for replying. I ended up going to the doctors and she told me I had anxiety and was on the verge of post natal depression. I decided not to take any medication though and to see if it went on it's own once my hormones had gone back to normal. I'm feeling loads better now which is a relief, the anxiety is still there but not as bad as it was. Fingers crossed I'm getting back to normal now 😊 x
