Impetigo or coldsore with newborn

Hello!
Over the last few days I have come out in the most discusting cluster of blisters across the whole of my top lip
I usually suffer from coldsores but this is an awful lot worse so I'm questioning whether it is actually impetigo😢 I had a baby 4 days ago and have been really run down
I am breast feeding and I'm soooo scared she will catch it off me, I am constantly washing my hands and have avoided holding her at all costs. It's breaking my heart that I can't even hold my baby or feed her, I am expressing milk and feeding through a bottle due to her being tongue tied and struggling to latch anyway so not having to hold her to feed. Another concern is that she can catch it through my milk
I'm so scared, she's so small I would never forgive myself if she gets it off me. Gp's are closed over the weekend, can the pharmacy give me anything that will work?
It's making me feel so stressed out so it's probably going to get even worse if I don't fix it ASAP
Thank you

I had the same and panicked the same! I went to the gp who told me that my milk would most likely stop her catching it as it would give her the antibodies against it. He was right - she didn't catch it, even feeding directly from me and being held all the time. So the more feeds the better.
